A thorough, direct, and efficient CRO/CMO with 25 years of diverse professional experience ranging from creative agency account management through Fortune 100 senior executive leadership with multi billion dollar budgetary responsibility. Currently Jim leads Marketing & Customer Growth for Independence Pet Group (IPG) which is an MGA with a portfolio of pet insurance brands like ASPCA, AKC, Figo, Pets Plus Us and PetPartners.

Prior to IPG, Tax held marketing, sales and service leadership roles at USAA, Balboa Insurance Group and Allstate Insurance Company. Jim has a pragmatic approach to building board-level strategy that is operational and profitable and is able to translate that down to front-line objectives.

Jim resides in Scottsdale with his wife, two daughters, and their dogs Oliver and Henry.
