Renee Hamlen is the Chief Marketing Officer for Principal’s Benefits & Protection business, overseeing marketing and customer experience. She joined Principal in 2024 with over 25 years of experience, including 15 years leading cross-functional marketing and sales enablement teams. Previously, she was CMO at F&G Annuities and Life, where she built marketing functions that drove strong revenue growth and brand strategy. Renee also spent a decade at New York Life Insurance, serving as head of marketing for the $11 billion Retail Annuities business.
