Kelly Hernandez is a highly experienced insurance professional with over two decades of expertise in Loss Reserving, Pricing, Telematics, and Product Development. At Nationwide, she has been a pivotal leader in auto product development, driving innovative programs such as SmartRide and SmartMiles. Kelly's notable achievements include:

Implementing proprietary scoring models and new rating capabilities.
Launching the SmartRide mobile app and the SmartMiles program.
Introducing several connected car programs.

Most recently, she has been instrumental in implementing new rating features like the Telematics Property Discount and pioneering solutions such as Focused Driving Rewards.

Kelly is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and proudly holds a degree from The Ohio State University.
